Docs – WordPress Theme Glowz

Typography Settings

The theme supports the core typographic features implemented in WordPress for Block Themes.

These features include:

  • Download fonts from Google Fonts or other sources;
  • Using fonts in block settings;
  • Configuring typography settings for the site and in blocks.

Read in the WordPress documentation:

To install fonts from Google Fonts:

  • Open WordPress Admin Dashboard;
  • Go to Appearance → Editor;
  • Click “Styles” on the left sidebar;
  • Click “Typography” on the right sidebar;
  • Click on “Fonts”;
  • Select “Install Fonts” tab;
  • Search font;
  • Select font and click “Install” button.

To change typography settings for to elements:

  • Open WordPress Admin Dashboard;
  • Go to Appearance → Editor;
  • Click “Styles” on the left sidebar;
  • Click “Typography” on the right sidebar;
  • Click the element type in the “Elements” section;
  • Change typography settings for selected elements.

Global typography settings are made primarily in the Site Editor. Additionally, you can set the purpose and options of the fonts on the Glowz admin page. These settings take precedence in the theme blocks, but may have not affect other blocks. In this case, you should use similar settings in the Site Editor, which have some limitations.

To change additional typography settings:

  • Open the WordPress Admin Dashboard;
  • Click Glowz on the left sidebar;
  • Scroll to the Fonts section.
